Hasanul Haq Inu's Threatening Remarks From the Court Dock

On Monday (June 22) afternoon, Hasanul Haq Inu and Rashed Khan Menon were produced before Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nazmin Akhter's court. Sub-Inspector Md. Ashraf Hossain of Bangshal Police Station then sought to show them arrested in the attempted-murder case of Mokhlesin filed during the July uprising.

Standing in the dock, the former minister of the autocratic Awami League government and JaSaD president Hasanul Haq Inu issued threats directed at the judge and lawyers.

"I have been in jail for a long time. Whatever every court's judge and every law officer is doing—I'm keeping a record of it in a red and a green register inside the prison."
